Job description

Indirect Talent Acquisition Analyst

Responsibilities
  • Collaborates with management to proactively identify staffing needs and develop comprehensive recruitment strategies.
  • Employs behavioral-based interviewing and assessment techniques to identify and select top talent aligned with organizational culture and job requirements.
  • Support and perform training programs to empower managers to make informed hiring decisions that minimize turnover and optimize team performance.
  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with external recruitment partners (e.g., 3rd parties, universities) to expand talent pipelines and access specialized skills.
  • Engages with community organizations and educational institutions to promote the company brand and attract diverse talent.
  • Tracks key recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire) to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyzes recruiting data to identify trends and proactively implement strategies to enhance recruiting processes and outcomes.
  • Sound knowledge of government legislation impacting the practice of human resources management.
  • Sound knowledge of the company HR policies and practices, particularly the global and regional staffing policies.
  • Ability to consult with a wide variety of internal customers and provide an end-to-end resourcing service.
  • Ability to develop an appropriate sourcing solution, post positions internally and externally, do telephone screening, conduct behavioral interviews, help a manager negotiate an appropriate job offer and conduct the necessary due diligence checks upon extension of job offer.
  • Effectively project management and time manage to prioritize work in a manner that allows for timely completion of staffing assignments or related projects.
  • Ability to manage sensitive employee information in a confidential manner.
  • Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in some or all of the following applications: Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Applicant Tracking software.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in most of the Personal Attributes and a basic level of proficiency in two Business Competencies, Organizational Awareness and Project Management (refer to the Celestica Competency Framework)
Physical Demands

Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
Occasional travel may be required.

Typical Experience

2-5 years of recruiting or relative experience is preferred.

Typical Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
