Job summary

A Malaysian environmental solutions provider is seeking an experienced professional to manage the operations of its industrial effluent treatment systems. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with OSHE Management procedures, preparing performance monitoring reports, motivating staff, and conducting risk assessments related to the treatment processes. Ideal candidates will have relevant competence certifications and a strong focus on improvement opportunities within the operations. This role requires proactive engagement with the team and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate industrial effluent treatment systems.
• Knowledge of OSHE Management system procedures and ISO/IETS requirements.
• Must possess competence certification such as CePIETSO.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHE Management system processes.
• Prepare performance monitoring and compliance assessments.
• Motivate and develop staff competency levels.
• Conduct HIRARC & EAIRA of treatment systems.
• Manage energy and utility supply and demand.

Job description

Responsible for ensuring operations of equipment is in compliance with all applicable OSHE Management system procedures, specifications as well as legal requirement.

To prepare & coordinate monthly performance monitoring and quarterly compliance monitoring.

To carry out performance monitoring (pm), preventive inspections and changed to IETS as when it is necessary.

Conduct HIRARC & EAIRA of Industrial effluent treatment systems.

To operate industrial effluent treatment system and to follow up & compile external lab test results periodically.

Motivate and develop required staff competency level

Perform and comply with the ISO/IETS requirement and customer specification requirement.

Identify areas for improvement and documentation system for IETS support equipment are in compliance.

Achieve section financial objectives relative to budgets and spending and implementing short and long range strategies, policies, and procedure to maximize effectiveness use of the products and available inventory.

Energy and utility supply and demand management. Additional focus in identifying opportunities for improvement.

Perform other adhoc/task assigned by management.

Responsible to report any near miss accidents happening in IETS/Lab area.

Working together with workers in IETS department in writing any policy related to their process and work.

Equip with competence cert, CePIETSO PCP / CePIETSO BP.
