Job summary

A travel agency in Malaysia is seeking a Travel Consultant for inbound and outbound travel services. Responsibilities include conducting client consultations, designing detailed travel itineraries, and providing customer service across multiple channels. Candidates should have a Diploma/Degree in Tourism management or a related field, excellent language skills in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, along with experience in the outbound tour industry, particularly in Asian countries. The role offers a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Tourism management / Business admin & Management or equivalent to a business-related field.
• Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience in outbound tour industry especially in China, Indonesia, Thailand & Vietnam.
• Experience in airline ticketing and customer service.
• Comfortable working with computers and mobile phones for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth consultations with clients regarding travel needs.
• Design and customize travel itineraries.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with the Operational Support Team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date client records.

Skills

Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese

Excellent command of spoken and written English

Excellent command of spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia

Good follow up skill

Basic computer skill (Outlook, Excel, Wordpress)
