Job description
About the Company

Randstad is exclusively partnering with a high-growth IT & Tech company with a strong regional presence. As they transition from a private entity to a public company, they are seeking a high-caliber finance lead to professionalize their operations and steer them through an upcoming IPO. This is a dual-hat role suitable for a finance leader who has the technical pedigree of a listed MNC environment but thrives in a hands‑on, pre‑IPO setting. You will work closely with the C‑Suite to establish the governance, reporting standards, and operational rigor required of a public‑listed entity.

Key Responsibilities
IPO Readiness & Corporate Exercises
  • Project Lead: Spearhead the end‑to‑end IPO preparation process, acting as the primary point of contact for investment bankers, lawyers, external auditors, and tax advisors.
  • Due Diligence: Manage the financial due diligence process, ensuring the data room is populated accurately and all queries are resolved swiftly.
  • Governance: Establish a corporate governance framework compliant with listing requirements, including the implementation of internal controls and risk management policies.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
  • Reporting Standards: Ensure all financial reporting complies strictly with MFRS/IFRS and relevant listing requirements. Prepare the group for quarterly and annual statutory reporting cycles.
  • Consolidation: Manage the consolidation of group accounts (if applicable) and produce high‑quality Board Papers and financial decks for investor relations.
  • Audit: Lead the external audit process, ensuring timely clearance of audit adjustments and signing of accounts.
Finance Operations Oversight
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the day‑to‑day finance function, including General Ledger, AP, AR, and Treasury. Ensure the financial engine runs smoothly and supports business operations.
  • Process Improvement: Review and upgrade current financial SOPs and ERP systems to handle the increased scrutiny and volume of a public company.
  • Team Management: Mentor and structure the finance team to ensure they are equipped to handle post‑IPO reporting timelines.
Key Requirements
  • Qualification: Must be a fully qualified accountant (MIA, ACCA, CPA, or ICAEW).
  • Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of experience. A background combining Big 4 Audit with commercial experience in a Listed Company or MNC is highly preferred.
  • IPO Exposure: Direct experience in IPO preparation, corporate exercises, or extensive knowledge of Bursa/listing requirements is a distinct advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Strong command of MFRS/IFRS, group consolidation, and internal controls.
  • Attributes: A hands‑on leader who can toggle between high‑level strategy (IPO) and ground‑level operations (Team management).
