Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for a Human Resources Specialist in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of HR functions including recruitment, training, payroll management, and compliance with employment laws. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, a minimum of 3 years HR experience, and fluency in English and Chinese. This role offers a comprehensive opportunity to shape HR practices within the organization.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Generate job descriptions, source CVs, and conduct interviews.
  • Assist in designing internal training programs.
  • Manage monthly payroll processes and policy updates.
  • Maintain HR compliance and handle disciplinary cases.
  • Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and propose improvements.
  • Keep all HR documents up-to-date to meet legal requirements.
  • Assist in conducting annual performance reviews.

Skills

About the job Human Resources Specialist

Job responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: JD generating, CV sourcing, interviewing, prepare new employee onboarding and orientation.
  • Training and Development: Assist in designing internal training programs to support employee skill development, track training effectiveness, and provide recommendations.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Assist with monthly payroll processes, adjust and update relevant policies in line with local laws and regulations.
  • Compliance and Discipline: Maintain company HR discipline policies, processes and systems in compliance with local compliance and regulations. Assist in handling disciplinary cases, conducting investigations, and providing reports.
  • Employee Relations: Maintain employee relations, respond to employee complaints, conduct employee satisfaction surveys, analyse results, and propose improvements.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain all HR forms, documents and personnel records, ensure them up-to-date and meet all legal requirements.
  • Performance Management: Assist conducting annual performance reviews and assist in designing employee development plans.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree above in Human Resources Management or related business administration field.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience.
  • Proficiency both in written and spoken in English, fluency in Chinese.
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of employment laws and regulations in Malaysia.
  • Competency in office software tools.
