Responsibilities
Recruitment & Selection
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including job posting, resume screening, interview scheduling, and offer preparation.
- Liaise with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements.
- Conduct background checks and employment verification.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of candidates.
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
- Manage new employee onboarding, including documentation, orientation, and induction.
- Ensure completion of employment contracts, policies, and statutory forms.
- Coordinate employee exits, including resignation processing, clearance, and exit interviews.
HR Administration & Records
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (personal files, contracts, leave, and attendance).
- Prepare HR letters such as appointment, confirmation, transfer, warning, and termination letters.
- Update and manage HR systems and filing.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Assist in monthly payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee data.
- Administer employee benefits, claims, and leave entitlements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory contributions (e.g. EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries on HR-related matters.
- Support management in handling disciplinary issues, grievances, and misconduct cases.
- Promote a positive and professional work environment.
Performance Management
- Assist in coordinating performance appraisals and probation confirmations.
- Track performance review schedules and documentation.
Training & Development
- Coordinate training programs and maintain training records.
- Support learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.
Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian labour laws and company policies.
- Assist in updating HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
- Support audits and inspections when required.
General HR Support
- Provide administrative support to the HR Department and management.
- Assist in HR projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- At least Diploma/Degree in any field
- At least 2-3 years experience in HR field.
- Strong in Microsoft Office Skills
- Must be willing to work in Georgetown, Penang.
