Job summary

A manufacturing company in Seremban is seeking a Human Resources professional to formulate and implement HR policies. Responsibilities include coordinating recruitment, handling training activities, and managing employee welfare in compliance with Malaysian labor laws. The ideal candidate should have at least a diploma with relevant experience, strong leadership, and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage. The role also involves interaction with government authorities.

Job description
Responsibilities
  1. Formulate, review and implement policies and procedures in line with the organization's goals and objectives.
  2. Responsible for daily HR administration activities, which includes coordinating recruitment, interview session, and employee welfare.
  3. Coordinate overall training activities and conduct Induction/Orientation training programs for new employees.
  4. Handle training matters such as establishing Training Plan, arranging training programs, conducting Training evaluations, and monitoring the training budget and expenses.
  5. Upkeep all training records as per the requirement of ISO 9001:2015.
  6. Check monthly records and purchase requests prepared by Admin Clerk before submitting them to other departments.
  7. Appraise all employees every day and obtain yearly Performance Appraisal for analysis.
  8. Deal with employment agents for foreign workers recruitment, and follow up with the whole application process until receiving the new workers. Update records of the visa expiry date from time to time and take necessary actions for renewal or termination of service.
  9. Deal with government authorities.
Requirements
  1. Preferably minimum Diploma with 2 years experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  2. Preferably a Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Social Science, Business Administration, or its equivalent.
  3. Have a good knowledge of Malaysian Labour Laws, Immigration procedures, and other related legislation.
  4. Strong leadership, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently.
  5. Good communication skills, able to coordinate and negotiate with all levels of staff.
  6. Good in spoken and written English, and Bahasa Malaysia. Candidates fluent in Mandarin are added advantage.
  7. Strong analytical and presentation skills with a high degree of computer literacy.
