Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is looking for an HR Manager to oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will manage HR processes, ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws, and facilitate multicultural workplace collaboration. Requirements include a relevant degree, proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, and at least 3 years of HR experience. Job description

Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and selection support.

Prepare and issue offer letters, employment contracts and related documentation.

Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new employees.

HR Administration

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, personal files and HR database.

Administer attendance, leave records, and overtime tracking.

Assist in preparation of HR letters (confirmation, promotion, warning, termination, etc).

Payroll & Statutory Compliance

Support monthly payroll processing in coordination with Finance/Payroll team.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc).

Verify claims, allowances and deductions in accordance with company policies.

Expatriate Employee Support

Assist in processing applications and renewals for Employment Pass (EP), Dependent Pass (DP) and other related permits.

Act as a communication bridge between Chinese expatriates and local employees, facilitating smooth workplace collaboration.

Employee Relations & Communication

Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.

Support employee engagement activities and welfare programs.

Training & Development

Coordinate internal and external training programs for employees, including HRDF claimable training.

Maintain training records, ensure compliance with company training requirements and support employee development plans.

Liaise with HQ and relevant departments to arrange overseas training opportunities in China were applicable.

Provide administrative and logistical support for workshops, seminar and learning activities.

Assist in internal and external audits related to HR matters.

Maintain confidentiality of all employee information and HR-related documents.
