Job summary

A leading training and development firm in Malaysia is seeking a candidate to manage training programs and enhance employee engagement initiatives. Job description
Training & Development
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute training and development programs for employees.
  • Assist in developing the annual training plan and training budget for management approval.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify and address organizational and employee development needs.
  • Liaise with HRD Corp on grant applications, claims submission and related documentation.
  • Coordinate training logistics, including sourcing training providers, liaising with Heads of Department on participant nominations and arranging venues, materials and refreshments.
  • Serve as the coordinator and observer for in‑house training sessions
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and collect feedback from participants.
  • Coordinate external training programs, including registration and payment processes.
  • Maintain and update the master training records and database.
Employee Engagement
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and activities.
  • Assist in developing the annual employee engagement plan and budget for management approval.
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys as required.
  • Coordinate engagement activities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote and encourage staff participation in engagement programs.
Job Requirements
  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, with a minimum of four (4) years’ relevant working experience.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong knowledge of Employment Law and HR policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across all levels of employees.
  • Resourceful, well‑organized, and strong in coordination and problem‑solving.
  • Energetic, independent, and highly committed.
  • High level of integrity with strong work ethics.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure.
