Job summary

A leading regional company in Malaysia seeks an experienced HR Executive to manage payroll, employee benefits, and foreign worker permits. The ideal candidate holds a degree in HR or related field with a minimum of 3 years' experience, preferably in manufacturing. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR systems is essential, along with strong communication skills. Familiarity with Malaysian labor regulations and the ability to speak Mandarin is a must. The role requires commitment from Monday to Saturday (half day).

  • Good knowledge of Malaysia Employment Act and labor regulations.

Job Description

Process monthly payroll accurately and on time

  • Handle statutory submissions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other related contributions
  • Ensure payroll records and reports are properly maintained
Compensation & Benefits (C&B)
  • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs
  • Manage leave records, overtime, allowances, and employee claims
  • Support salary reviews, adjustments, and annual increment exercises
Foreign Worker Management
  • Handle foreign worker permit applications, renewals, cancellations, and compliance matters
  • Liaise with relevant government authorities and agencies on foreign labor matters
  • Maintain accurate records for foreign worker documentation and permits
HR Operations & Employee Records
  • Maintain and update employee personal files and HR databases
  • Prepare HR letters, contracts, and related documentation
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes
HR Support & Administration
  • Assist in HR reporting and audits
  • Support HR policies implementation and compliance
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Hands‑on experience in Payroll, C&B administration, EIS, EPF, SOCSO, and statutory compliance
  • Proven experience handling foreign worker permits and documentation
  • Good knowledge of Malaysia Employment Act and labor regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HR systems
  • Able to work Monday - Saturday (half day)
  • Able to speak Mandarin is a MUST
