A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to steer their workforce strategy and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role. Responsibilities include managing employee relations, implementing HR strategies, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. A Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. The position offers competitive remuneration, accommodation, and opportunities for growth.
Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to manpower planning, recruitment & selection, compensation & benefits, performance management, training & development, employee and industrial relations.
Implement highly effective HR strategies, policies, and action plans that aligns with the company goals and business revenue ambition, with the ability to address and overcome all the challenges.
Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
Implement effective performance management systems in line with Group policy, including performance appraisal, career development, and succession planning.
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling, while promoting a positive and conducive work environment.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian Labour Law including Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, Trade Union Act, managing poor performance, misconduct, employee grievances, disciplinary action, conducting domestic inquiries, preliminary investigations, etc.
Drive organizational development initiatives, including training and development programs, employee engagement activities, and change management processes.
Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Responsible for the review, development and implementation of systems, procedures and processes to improve the operational efficiency of the HR & Administration functions and ensure compliance to the Group policies and practices.
Liaise with the union representative and assist in resolution of issues to uphold harmonious union-employer relationships.
Build good public relations between the Company and the local council, communities and the government authorities.
Look into employee’s welfare and regularly conduct assessment to ensure a conducive working environment for all staff.
To undertake other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree is added advantages.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience with at least 3 years leading the human resource division in a managerial position.
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in an operational environment, demonstrating strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
An effective communicator who is capable of building strong relationships, ability to foster positive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Goal-oriented, proactive, accountable, and passionate about driving results.
Hands-on attitude with ability to make things happening.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have knowledge in ISO 9002 series, OSH and Environmental Management System.
Strong in leadership skills, interpersonal, negotiation, organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Willing to travel and work in Klian Intan Perak.
