Job summary

A retail company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an HR Officer to assist with executing effective HR programs across the store. Responsibilities include recruiting general staff, preparing necessary documentation for hiring and staff evaluations, and organizing staff welfare activities. The ideal candidate should possess a Degree or Diploma, have 2-3 years of experience in retail operations, and be proficient in MS Office along with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Shift work is required, as this is not an office hour job.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of working experience in retail operations management/related field.
  • Able to work on shift, including Off Day, Rest Day or Public Holiday.

Responsibilities

  • Assist HR Officer in executing effective HR programs and policies.
  • Update monthly store organization chart and manpower strength report.
  • Prepare documentation on staff hiring and performance evaluations.
  • Recruit general staff for each department.
  • Compile OCW documentation and payment sheets for workers.
  • Prepare documentation for injured and sick employees.
  • Coordinate staff activities and ensure staff welfare.
  • Ensure First Aid Kit is stocked for emergencies.
  • Update and monitor staff attendance.
  • Update HRMS BOSS I-NET Data twice a day.

Job description

1. To assist HR Officer for executing and implementing effective HR program and policies at store such as confirmation, transfer and re-designation, personnel expenses control, performance appraisal etc.

2. To update monthly store organization chart and manpower strength report.

3. To prepare documentation on staff hiring, EPF & Maybank registration, performance evaluation, confirmation, transfer & re-designation, dismissal and awards.

4. To recruit general staff, for each department.

5. Compilation of OCW documentation and preparation and payment sheet of casual worker and outsource worker.

6. To prepare documentation for injured and sick employees to seek medical attention and preparation for documentation of any claims of staff insurance, bereavement, EPF & SOCSO.

7. To co‑ordinate with other committee members in arranging staff ceria club activities eg get together party, birthday party, sport tournament and long service award.

8. To ensure staff welfare and facilities in good conditions.

9. To ensure 1st Aid Kit is stocked with the necessary medicines for emergency use.

10. To update and monitor staff attendance.

11. To update HRMS BOSS I‑NET Data twice a day.

Job Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in any field.

2‑3 years of working experience in retail operations management/related field.

Computer Literacy Skill: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.

Language Skills:

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Able to work on shift, including Off Day, Rest Day or Public Holiday. (Not an office hour job)
