A leading HR consultancy in Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR and IR specialist to lead strategies in a fast-paced environment. The role involves managing disciplinary matters, ensuring compliance with labour laws, and supporting management during organizational changes. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in HR leadership, including handling labour disputes and maintaining employee relations. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities and resilience in challenging situations.
Lead HR and IR strategies aligned with business needs, including managing a distressed and turnaround environment.
Support management in stabilising workforce, compliance, and employee relations during restructuring or recovery.
Act as the IR specialist, handling disciplinary matters, grievances, misconduct cases, and labour disputes.
Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.
Guide and support the HR team through organisational change.
Manage recruitment, manpower planning, and performance management aligned with current business priorities.
Drive focused initiatives to maintain morale, engagement, and a professional working environment.
Proven HR leadership experience, preferably in distressed, turnaround, or restructuring situations.
Strong IR specialist experience, including hands‑on handling of disciplinary actions and labour disputes.
Sound knowledge of labour laws, employment regulations, and IR practices.
Ability to work closely with management in high‑pressure and sensitive situations.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and resilience.
