Job description
Responsibilities
  1. Strategic HR Planning & Advisory
    • Plan short- and long-term manpower requirements based on business growth and staff movement.
    • Provide HR-related advice to management on organizational structure, workforce optimization, and succession planning.
  2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
    • Manage the full recruitment cycle including job posting, candidate screening, interviews, and offer issuance.
    • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for key positions, ensuring readiness for urgent or high-turnover roles.
  3. HR Policy, SOP & Compliance
    • Draft, review, and update HR policies and SOPs to ensure compliance, clarity, and alignment with company direction.
    • Ensure adherence to Malaysian labor laws and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN) in all HR practices.
  4. Performance Management
    • Coordinate the performance appraisal process including documentation, reminders, and result compilation.
    • Analyze performance data to identify development needs, reward opportunities, and performance gaps.
  5. Employee Relations & Disciplinary
    • Handle employee grievances and resolve conflicts in a professional, timely, and fair manner.
    • Manage disciplinary processes including issuance of warning letters, suspension notices, and domestic inquiry support.
  6. Training & Development
    • Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads and propose relevant internal or external training programs.
    • Conduct onboarding and induction programs for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the company.
  7. Compensation & Benefits Oversight
    • Verify and submit payroll inputs such as attendance, overtime, and allowances to the Finance Department.
    • Administer employee benefits including leave, insurance, medical claims, and meal voucher programs.
  8. Leadership & Supervision
    • Supervise junior HR team members and interns, providing guidance on daily tasks and HR processes.
    • Coordinate with other departments to support cross-functional HR activities and resolve operational issues.
  9. Special Projects & Company Initiatives
    • Support HR digitization efforts including systems like AppSheet for attendance, appraisals, and voucher tracking.
    • Participate in organizing employee engagement activities such as company events, competitions, and recognition programs.
Requirements
  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience – At least 1–3 years of working experience in HR operations or similar role.
  • Knowledge – Good understanding of Malaysian labor laws, HR policies, and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS).
  • Skills – Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Technical – Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems (e.g., payroll software, AppSheet, HRIS).
  • Citizenship – Malaysian Citizen.
