Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operations at the working station.
• Coordinate between team members on the operational floor.
• Ensure security compliance and report irregularities.
• Prepare and check machines/devices for operation.
• Manage unloading of products safely and accurately.
• Complete the loading to the shuttle truck within timelines.

Overview

We are currently seeking a Domestic Operator to join DHL eCommerce Malaysia across Malaysia!

The Domestic Operator will be responsible for smooth operations of the working station of receiving, encoding, sorting, dim scanning, loading and return shipment from depots or any additional task assign by superior.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Customer Service Management
• Work cooperatively with truck driver for loading/unloading
• Coordinate between team member on operational floor
• Compliance the security regulatory and feedback any irregularity or foresee the risk of un-secure
• Process Management
• Read and understand operational procedures/work instruction
• Prepare the work station to be ready to run operational on daily basis
• Pre-check by applying checklist for all machines/devices to assure readiness for operation
• Ensure machines and equipment are ready to run operational
• Report to supervisor any abnormal machines/devices, materials, etc. related to daily routine operation
• Ensure unloading of products from customer’s premises and/or depots with safe handling while conveying to the operational work floor
• Ensure an accurate number of products received
• Feed products on the operational floor with the correct orientation to the right station as per operational procedure
• Complete the encode and ensure capacity meets company’s expectations
• Ensure sorting of products to the right depots/destinations
• Ensure completion of loading to shuttle truck within the timeline and meet truck departure schedules, similar for air line haul movement
• Must be able to work extended hours as assigned by superior
• Must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, or irregular shifts; to support Depot operations when required
• Scanning of inventory in the Depot

• Attend the daily meeting as scheduled by supervisor
• Participate and share the team’s best demonstrative practices
• Support colleagues on operational floor
