A leading Chinese medical device firm expands to Malaysia!

1. Develop and execute local recruitment strategies to attract qualified factory staff (production, technical, administrative roles) and build a talent pipeline aligned with the factory’s expansion plan.

2. Manage full-cycle recruitment: job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding for local hires.

3. Administer employee benefits programs (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, health insurance, annual leave) in compliance with Malaysian labor laws, and coordinate with Chinese headquarters on global benefit frameworks.

4. Handle immigration and visa matters for expatriate staff (if applicable) and ensure all employee documentation (work permits, contracts, etc.) is complete and compliant.

5. Establish and implement HR policies/procedures tailored to local regulations while aligning with the company’s global standards.

6. Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and staff retention initiatives.

7. Act as the key liaison between local employees and Chinese headquarters, facilitating effective communication through bilingual proficiency.

8. Maintain accurate HR records and reports, and support the factory’s overall operational objectives through effective HR management.
