Job summary

A leading HR firm in Kulai, Malaysia is seeking a Payroll Specialist. This role involves processing monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with Malaysian labor laws, and maintaining employee records. Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Human Resources, with 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing. Preference is given to Mandarin speakers. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to enter the HR field.

Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
  • Ensure payroll compliance with Malaysian labor laws and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, attendance and leave data
  • Handle employee enquiries related to salary, deductions and benefits
  • Prepare payroll-related reports for management and audit purposes
  • Coordinate with Finance and HR departments on payroll matters
  • Assist in employee benefits administration (Claims, allowances, overtime, etc.)
  • Support HR functions such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management
  • Ensure confidentiality of payroll and employee information
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration
  • Familiar with Malaysian labour laws and statutory contributions such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB.
  • Experience in using payroll systems such as SQL / AutoCount / or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
