Job summary

A leading training and HR management company in Penang seeks an experienced HR professional to assist in planning and coordinating employee training programs. This role involves managing documentation for foreign workers, compliance with labor laws, and supporting HR functions. The ideal candidate possesses a degree related to Human Resources and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resource related fields.
  • Familiar with Training & Development and Foreign Workers Management.
  • Ability to work effectively and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing employee training programs.
  • Responsible for all HRDC related matters.
  • Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads.
  • Coordinate internal and external training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Maintain training records, attendance, and evaluation reports.
  • Support onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
  • Handle end to end recruitment for foreign workers.
  • Manage documentation related to work permits, FOMEMA, and renewals.
  • Liaise with government authorities on foreign worker matters.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and immigration regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of foreign workers.
  • Support housing, medical check-ups, and other welfare arrangements.

Coordinate internal and external training sessions, workshops, and seminars

Maintain training records, attendance, and evaluation reports

Support onboarding and orientation programs for new employees

Handle end to end recruitment for foreign workers

Manage documentation related to work permits, FOMEMA and renewals

Liaise with government authorities, agencies, and service providers on foreign worker matters

Ensure compliance with local labor laws and immigration regulations

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of foreign workers

Support housing, medical check-ups, and other welfare arrangements where applicable

3. General HR Support

Maintain employee records and HR databases

Assist with HR reports and documentation

Support disciplinary, attendance, and leave administration

Perform other HR-related duties as assigned

2.0 Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources or a related field

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resource related fields

Familiar with Training & Development and Foreign Workers Management

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively and meet deadlines

Familiar with MS Office, and related business and communication tools
