Job description

The Manager, Talent Management & Development is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of talent development strategies and programs that attract, develop, engage and retain high performing employees aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

Job Descriptions:
Talent Management & Succession Planning
  • Develop and implement the Talent Management Framework, covering talent identification, assessment, development, and succession planning.
  • Facilitate talent review sessions with senior management to identify high‑potential employees and critical positions.
  • Design and manage succession planning programs for key leadership and technical roles.
  • Monitor and report on talent pipeline health and readiness levels.
Learning & Development (L&D)
  • Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) aligned with business strategy and competency gaps.
  • Develop annual learning and development plans and manage the training budget.
  • Design and deliver leadership development programs, soft skills training, and technical upskilling initiatives.
  • Introduce blended learning methods (e‑learning, coaching, mentoring, workshops).
  • Evaluate training effectiveness (ROI, Kirkpatrick model, etc.) and continuously improve program quality.
Performance & Capability Development
  • Support the implementation of the Performance Management System (PMS), ensuring linkages to development and career progression.
  • Coach line managers on performance feedback and development planning.
  • Establish and update competency frameworks for different job levels or functions.
  • Implement career development pathways and internal mobility programs.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
  • Organise mentorship programs or talent exchange programmes across divisions or subsidiaries.
Organisational Development & Governance
  • Support change management initiatives, culture transformation, and leadership alignment.
  • Conduct organisational diagnostics, employee surveys, and action planning.
  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to ensure talent and OD initiatives meet strategic priorities.
Governance & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate L&D and talent records in HRIS.
  • Track key KPIs such as training hours per employee, high‑potential retention rate, and succession readiness.
  • Prepare management reports and dashboards for HR and Board reporting.
  • Identify any inefficiency in daily operations and suggest improvement proposals where possible.
  • Deliver results within the value system of EITA.
Are you the one?
Qualification
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources. Majoring in Organisational Behaviours, Organisational Development, Human Resources Development or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in talent management and organisational development in progressive, people‑centric and dynamic organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing talent and leadership development frameworks (assessment, selection, development, succession, management) and building talent and leadership capabilities.
  • Solid background in programme design, programme management, facilitation, and data analytics.
  • Possess HRDC Train‑The‑Trainer Certificate is preferred.
  • Possess own transport and willing to work at Bukit Raja, Klang.
Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge
  • Verbal and written communication skills to effectively deliver to all stakeholders, programme/strategy contents/messages through various channels.
  • Consulting skills with the ability to comprehend talent and organisational dynamics and provide as well as execute effective problem‑solving solutions.
  • Ability to comprehend human behaviours in driving change management processes.
  • Knowledge of diverse change management methodologies.
