A growing consultancy firm in Shah Alam is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee full HR functions. Responsibilities include managing payroll, recruitment, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree and possess at least 5 years of HR experience. We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead the full spectrum of HR functions and support a positive, well-structured workplace. This role oversees payroll, recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations, while ensuring compliance and alignment with business needs.
Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission, including complex overtime calculations
Lead and manage a team of 3 HR team members, providing guidance and task prioritisation
Review and benchmark compensation and benefits through market surveys
Evaluate, implement, and improve HR systems to enhance efficiency and reporting
Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, from job posting to hiring
Coordinate and facilitate interviews with Heads of Department
Conduct onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes
Manage employee benefits including medical insurance, enrollments, claims, and renewals
Oversee leave management, off-in-lieu, and related HR records
Identify and coordinate relevant training programs
Monitor confirmation processes and manage annual performance appraisals
Handle employee issues including misconduct cases, disciplinary actions, and grievances
Promote a positive work culture and maintain confidentiality of HR matters
Liaise with relevant government bodies when required
Manage employee-related assets and basic building or facility matters
Oversee general HR and administrative support functions
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of HR experience handling a broad HR portfolio
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Good interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
