A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned HR Manager to partner with leadership on talent strategy and oversight of HR functions. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of HR experience, strong management skills, and fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Responsibilities include developing training programs, managing office security, and supporting employee engagement. This role is critical in shaping organizational culture and ensuring effective HR processes.
Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, compensation & benefits and succession planning.
Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances.
Review, revise or formulate employees training scheme, learning and development programs, and implementation of those programs and ensure its effectiveness.
Spearhead HR strategies, systems, tactics, procedures and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and to contribute to shape the business from team structure, morale and culture perspective.
Oversee the office management and security team to manage facility security for protecting all company assets and safety.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels.
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
Maintain and improve all HR processes for HR department to function as a strategic arm of the group.
Review, revise, or formulate policies and guidelines, and implement to ensure cost effective for employee manpower planning and staffing, wage and benefit programs, assure selection and retention of qualified personnel.
Spearhead real-time labour management needs for factory operations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or relevant degree or certification, with minimum 10 years of working experience in the related field and with at least 5 year managerial experience.
Good solid knowledge of human resource management.
Strong presentation, counselling, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also be a good team player where frequent collaboration across functional teams is necessary.
Strong organizational and people management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to facilitate the implementation of organisational changes and motivate others to effect changes efficiently.
Strategic thinking, forward thinking and think outside the box.
Change management skills and keen in learning new concepts and knowledge.
Firm but courteous, ethical and have integrity.
Good analytical, problem solving and decision making skill.
Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office, other relevant software and application.
Preferably candidates with hands‑on HR experience in manufacturing background.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (both written & spoken) to liaise with associates in China.
