What requirements you’ll need to be eligible
- Degree holder, with post graduate or undergraduate specialty in human resources.
- 5 years experience with generalist or specialist experience across talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll management, performance development, and compensation administration.
- More than 3 years experience supervising a human resources individual or team.
- Good exposure to organisational types such as multi‑unit businesses, food and beverage or retail sector, companies with internal or regional (SEA) employees.
- Strong organisational skills, with knowledge of industry‑based employee engagement methodologies and tools, employment laws and company policies.
- Business acumen, and faculty to understand diverse functional needs.
- Written, verbal, and visual communication effectiveness.
- Deep level of regard for confidentiality and human resources ethics and code of conduct.
- Dexterity to adapt to evolving priorities and needs.
- Empathy for the diverse backgrounds of our employees.
What you’ll be doing on the job
- Advocate on behalf of staff—solicit and listen to staff’s concerns, facilitate their access to information and solutions for all human resources programs and policies, and government laws and acts.
- Initiate and lead engagement and communication best practices that support the company’s human resources strategic plans, with the view of building and sustaining a motivating environment, a great place to work and excel.
- Advise and manage talent acquisition approaches and tasks, employee insight follow‑up, performance and development processes, partner relations matters and recognition schemes.
- Review, research and support in setting up human resources services, staying responsive and maintaining our competitive edge as employer of choice.
- Develop and coach organisational and immediate team’s capability in business partnering, balancing efficiency, partner experience and organisational effectiveness.
- Manage employee grievances when they arise.
- Support the pre‑payroll or post‑payroll process by providing accurate employee information.
- Support or co‑build effective HR administration processes and resources, benefiting both partner resource team and stakeholders.
- Engage with cross‑departmental stakeholders, within partners resource team, and with regional specialists to roll out any new initiatives or changes to programmes and policies.
- Ensure full compliance with new and existing employment laws and guidelines.
