Overview
Based in Kuala Lumpur, the candidate will be working closely with the HR team in discharging HR related work. This role will report to the Managing Partner and HR Partners.
Duties & Responsibilities
Summary: Representing management in managing HRD strategies and operations, ranging from the preparation of strategies, work programs, budgets, implementation, control, to evaluations to support the smooth work of employees.
- Serve as a coordinator in the preparation / revision of Firm’s rules and implementing the rules.
- Evaluate and revise the organizational structure in accordance with the Firm’s strategy.
- Coordination, division of tasks, coaching, counselling, and preparation of training programs for all employees.
- Review payroll and conduct checks, corrections, and approvals for work schedules / employee overtime.
- The creation of productive employee performance and work comfort.
- Serve as a communication bridge between employees, management, and enforcing the rights and obligations of employees and the Firm.
- Coordinate with managers to develop, socialize and enforce employee rules and discipline.
- Coordinate and function as an internal management consultant for division heads, in the implementation of HRD functions in each division.
- Control all HRD’s work, including aspects of recruitment, personnel, industrial relations, and competence, performance and development.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the discipline of employees in the Firm, in accordance with the values and regulations of the Firm.
- Develop and update the System Operating Procedure (SOP) and ensure that work in the department is carried out in accordance with the SOP.
- Responsible for the competence, performance, and career development of subordinates in the HRD.
- Supervise and coaching and counselling.
- Make decisions and give approval in accordance with authority of HR Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of working experience in the field of Human Resources & Administration preferably in the professional services industry.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong interaction, communication and analytical skills and be resourceful in problem solving.
- Enjoys working with diverse stakeholder groups and is results oriented.
- Able to work independently within tight timelines.
