Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Operations
- Lead and manage full-spectrum HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, performance reviews, employee relations, and disciplinary processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and organisational standards.
- Oversee manpower planning across divisions (logistics, procurement, construction, operations, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end hiring processes from sourcing to onboarding.
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract skilled talent, including foreign workers when required.
- Maintain updated job descriptions and talent pipelines for key roles.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a positive work culture through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
- Address staff grievances and handle disciplinary matters professionally and fairly.
- Guide managers on HR best practices and workforce management.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate development programs.
- Support career development planning and succession planning initiatives.
HR Administration & Compliance
- Oversee HR documentation, leave management, and personnel files.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with the finance department.
- Ensure compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and all employment laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Experience managing HR in multi-department or project-based environments (logistics, construction, operations) is an advantage.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; HR system experience is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage).
- Organised, people-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
