Job summary

A multi-service company based in Johor Bahru is seeking a qualified HR Manager to lead a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and training. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field and have at least 3 years of HR experience with strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws. Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Operations
  • Lead and manage full-spectrum HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, performance reviews, employee relations, and disciplinary processes.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and organisational standards.
  • Oversee manpower planning across divisions (logistics, procurement, construction, operations, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Manage end-to-end hiring processes from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract skilled talent, including foreign workers when required.
  • Maintain updated job descriptions and talent pipelines for key roles.
Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Foster a positive work culture through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Address staff grievances and handle disciplinary matters professionally and fairly.
  • Guide managers on HR best practices and workforce management.
Training & Development
  • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs.
  • Support career development planning and succession planning initiatives.
HR Administration & Compliance
  • Oversee HR documentation, leave management, and personnel files.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs with the finance department.
  • Ensure compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and all employment laws.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices.
