Job summary

A construction and property management firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, training, payroll, and compliance with Malaysian labor laws. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction sector, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of HRIS software and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English are essential. This role offers the opportunity to shape HR policies and lead performance management initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant HR and admin experience.
  • At least 3-5 years in a managerial role, preferably in property development.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, Chinese is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all HR functions including planning, recruitment, onboarding, and resignations.
  • Develop HR policies and employee handbooks complying with legal requirements.
  • Lead performance management processes including appraisals and improvement plans.
  • Advise on industrial relations and manage employee grievances.
  • Ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with statutory submissions.
  • Coordinate training and development needs for staff.
