A leading retail company in Selangor is seeking a Foreign Workers Management Specialist to oversee the well-being and compliance of foreign workers. Responsibilities include managing work permits, ensuring safety, and supporting the HR department. Candidates should have a diploma in Human Resources or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
Attend to all foreign worker-related matters both internally and externally, such as fetching workers from KLIA, assisting with work permit renewals, conducting FOMEMA checks, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of worker hostels.
Monitor and manage the attendance and overall well‑being of foreign workers.
Be available as needed to perform periodic checks and follow‑ups.
Assist with the application, renewal, and cancellation of work permits and visas for foreign workers.
Ensure compliance with immigration laws and maintain accurate records of all relevant documentation.
Support the HR Department in sending seriously ill staff to clinics/hospitals or assisting in cases of accidents involving staff.
Be on call during emergencies, acting with reliability and completing tasks promptly while obtaining necessary permissions before leaving the workplace.
Assist in sending company vehicles for repair services when needed and handle related transportation matters accurately.
Assist in handling disciplinary matters, grievances, and employee counseling to maintain a harmonious workplace.
Support the HR Executive in issuing counseling and warning letters, ensuring clear communication and adherence to HR policies.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Min 3 years of experience in Foreign Workers Management and HR field.
Extensive experience in human resources management with a focus on foreign worker management and immigration compliance.
Knowledge of immigration laws and procedures for foreign workers.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with employees from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, providing support to foreign workers as needed.
