Job summary

A technology firm located in Penang is seeking a Human Resources Officer. This role involves comprehensive HR responsibilities including payroll administration, recruitment activities, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Human Resources and has strong communication skills in Mandarin and English. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for areas of human resources including payroll and staffing.
  • Maintain HR system and ensure data accuracy.
  • Accountable for monthly payroll computation and processing.
  • Manage recruitment activities and participate in career fairs.
  • Administer training and HRD grant applications.
  • Handle employee relations matters including grievances.
  • Ensure compliance with RBA and ISO standards.

Education

Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
Job description

Responsible for areas of human resources including but not limited to compensation & benefits administration, payroll, staffing, employment processing, employee relations, training, records management, performance appraisal, HR system, audit & statutory compliance.

Maintain HR system and data update accuracy and timely.

Accountable for monthly payroll computation & processing.

Responsible for new hires orientation, registration and documentation.

Manage entire recruitment activities and participate in recruitment events, career/campus fairs.

Administer training and HRD grant application.

Handle employee relations matters including grievance, disciplinary & domestic inquiry.

Liaise with statutory bodies & government authorities to ensure problem solving & objective is meet.

Ensure zero NCR for all kind of audits and maintain compliance with RBA and ISO standard, rules and regulations.

Generating, prepare report and perform analysis on regular basis and ad-hoc basis as and when request.

Support for any events held from time-to-time.

Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Degree in Human Resources or any other equivalent.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin & English.
  • Knowledge of Labour Laws & industrial practices.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Willing to work in Bukit Minyak, Pulau Pinang.
