Mega Fortris Berhad is seeking two (2) HR Executives to support Recruitment and Hostel Management functions. This role is responsible for end-to-end recruitment activities for executive, non‑executive, and operator positions, as well as managing company hostel.
Job Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Handle end‑to‑end recruitment for executive, non‑executive, and operator positions
- Work closely with HODs on manpower planning and recruitment requirements
- Source candidates via JobStreet, social media, agencies, referrals, and walk‑ins
- Conduct resume screening, interviews, and reference checks
- Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation
- Coordinate new joiner orientation and probation tracking
- Maintain recruitment records, reports, and hiring metrics
- Support employer branding and recruitment activities (job fairs, mass hiring, etc.)
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with company policy and labour regulations
Hostel Management
- Manage company hostel operations for foreign and local workers
- Coordinate hostel allocation, check‑in / check‑out, and room assignments
- Ensure hostel compliance with local council requirements, Labor Department / Immigration guidelines
- Monitor hostel cleanliness, safety, discipline, and house rules
- Liaise with hostel operators / landlords, maintenance vendors, security and cleaning contractors
- Handle hostel‑related complaints, discipline issues, and incident reporting
- Maintain accurate hostel records and reports (occupancy, expenses, incidents)
- Support foreign worker welfare, onboarding, and administrative matters
- Manage HR in audits, inspections, and compliance checks
Requirements
Recruitment
- Diploma / Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or equivalent
- 2–5 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing environment
- Hands‑on experience in mass hiring / blue‑collar recruitment is an advantage
- Familiar with JobStreet and other recruitment platforms
- Good communication, coordination, and follow‑up skills
- Able to work independently and meet tight hiring timelines
Hostel Management
- Diploma / Degree in Human Resource, Administration, or equivalent
- 2–5 years experience in hostel management / worker welfare / admin
- Experience managing foreign workers’ hostel is highly preferredKnowledge of hostel compliance, safety, and basic labour regulations
- Firm, fair, and people‑oriented with good problem‑solving skills
- Willing to attend to hostel matters outside office hours when required
