A media production company in Malaysia seeks a Human Resources Executive to manage employee engagement, payroll, and compliance with labour laws. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in HR or related fields and 1-3 years of experience in HR roles. Proficiency in Mandarin and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Acting as the first point of contact for employee matters and conduct regular check-ins
Planning monthly employee engagement, team building and culture-binding activities
Coordinating internships and recruitment interview scheduling
Handling monthly payroll outputs, attendance, leave tracking and HR documentation
Managing onboarding / offboarding processes and maintain employee records
Tracking KPIs with supervisors and prepare performance reports
Assisting with disciplinary issues, warning letters and labour law compliance
Supporting HR policy updates, training and other ad hoc tasks as required
Diploma / Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or equivalent qualifications
Minimum 1-3 years of experiences as a Human Resources executive or related fields
Must be fluent in Mandarin for purposes of daily communication
Strong interpersonal skills
Organised, proactive and able to work independently
Knowledge of Malaysian labour law is an advantage
