About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Human Resources (HR) Executive to join our client's team. This role is responsible for managing daily HR operations, including employee attendance, payroll, welfare, and relations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and passionate about supporting both employees and management to ensure a productive and positive workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Employee Attendance, Records & HR Systems: Manage and maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, leave, and personnel files, ensuring compliance with company policies and updating data in the HR system.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration: Prepare and process monthly payroll, allowances, overtime, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), while administering employee welfare programs and benefits.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track employee work output, support performance appraisals, and generate HR reports to assist management in decision‑making.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for employee issues, resolve conflicts professionally, and organize engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment processes, from job postings and interviews to onboarding and integration of new hires.
- Compliance & Policy Implementation: Ensure HR policies comply with labor laws, communicate updates to staff, and enforce consistent policy implementation.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1‑3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably with exposure to payroll, employee relations, and HR administration.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to interact effectively with Chinese counterparts.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws, including payroll processing, employee welfare, and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
- Proficiency in HR systems or payroll software, with strong MS Office skills (Excel and Word).
