Summary

The HR Data Governance & Automation function manages the development and governance of the HR data and information strategy to facilitate business decisions and foster growth across the East Asia & Pacific region, encompassing 15 countries and approximately ~15,500 employees in total.

Responsibilities
  • Overall, the function is responsible for:- Designing & Implementing an HR Data Strategy and Projects;- HR Data Governance and Quality Assurance;- Data Management;- Business Intelligence and Analytics
  • The HR Data & Reporting Specialist plays a dual role in ensuring data integrity and governance across HR systems while designing and delivering business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights and automated reporting.
Data Stewardship & Governance
  • Maintain data quality standards across HR systems (HRIS, Payroll, etc.)
  • Developing and implementing strategies & solutions that optimize process efficiency and data quality in HR systems
  • Providing functional & technical support to users by troubleshooting problems related to data in HR systems
  • Implement data governance frameworks, including validation rules and audit processes
  • Partner with HR stakeholders to educate and enforce data entry best practices
  • Support integration processes between HR systems and downstream applications (e.g., payroll, benefits, platforms)
Business Intelligence & Reporting
  • Design, develop, and maintain HR dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Automate recurring reports and streamline manual processes to improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with HR leaders to define KPIs and metrics aligned with business objectives.
  • Prepare data extracts and analytics for compliance, audits, and external vendors.
  • Evaluating the data collection process to ensure efficiency and integrity
  • Gathering & Processing raw data at scale
  • Working closely with Payroll, Data Operations & Rewards teams to drive innovation in managing and processing HR data
  • Support business requirements with ad hoc analysis as needed
