Job summary

A leading company in human resources is seeking an HR Manager to develop and implement HR policies, manage recruitment processes, and oversee employee relations. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and have a minimum of 7–10 years experience in HR, including managerial roles. Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and excellent stakeholder management skills are essential. This role is based in Ampang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and continuously review HR policies, procedures, and programmes to ensure alignment with the Company’s culture, values, and business goals.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and talent development initiatives to attract, retain, and nurture high-performing employees.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, and conflict resolution, in compliance with labour laws and best practices.
  • Oversee office administration functions, including office maintenance, procurement of equipment, and vendor management (including but not limited to stationery, toiletries, and pantry supplies).
  • Prepare and process payment vouchers for administrative and operational expenses, including fleet and property insurance, road tax, fuel fleet cards, telecommunication bills, utilities, broadband services, and local authority licences.
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Law, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Administration, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial capacity, preferably within a public listed or group of companies.
  • Strong working knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices, including experience supporting corporate governance and audit requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage HR and administrative matters across multiple subsidiaries and business units.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills, including interaction with senior management and external parties (e.g. auditors, regulators, and vendors).
