Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of Human Resource and Administration functions to support the company’s manufacturing operations and ensure compliance with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards, local labor laws, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Human Resource Management
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company objectives and RBA standards.
  • Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding for all departments, including production and technical roles.
  • Oversee payroll, attendance, and employee benefits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Administer performance management and employee development programs.
  • Handle disciplinary actions, grievance management, and employee relations.
  • Maintain compliance with Malaysia’s labor laws and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF, etc.).
2. RBA (Responsible Business Alliance) Compliance
  • Lead RBA audit preparation, documentation, and implementation across HR and administrative practices.
  • Ensure company policies and operations comply with RBA standards, including labor, ethics, health & safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Conduct internal assessments, identify gaps, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Liaise with auditors, consultants, and relevant stakeholders during external audits.
  • Train employees and management on RBA principles, code of conduct, and compliance awareness.
3. Training & Development
  • Identify training needs and organize competency-building programs.
  • Promote continuous improvement culture and employee engagement.
4. Industrial Relations
  • Foster a positive working environment and maintain harmonious employer-employee relations.
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance cases professionally and in accordance with RBA and company policies.
5. Administration
  • Oversee general administrative operations: office facilities, security, transportation, hostels, and canteen.
  • Manage foreign worker documentation, work permits, and welfare in compliance with RBA and legal requirements.
  • Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, and compliance with occupational safety standards (OSH).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of HR & Admin experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably packaging or carton box industry).
  • Solid understanding of RBA standards and experience in RBA or social compliance audits.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysia’s employment laws and statutory regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
