Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Human Resources professional to manage the full spectrum of HR functions. This role involves recruitment, foreign worker management, compliance with labor laws, and performance reviews. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Human Resources or related fields with 2-4 years of experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to HR management. Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Assisting full spectrum of Human Resource functions and activities which includes manpower recruitment & selection, headcount report, payroll administration, compensation & benefit, employee relations, performance management, Learning & Development coordination, HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle end-to-end foreign worker management, including foreign worker quota applications, work permit applications, renewals, FOMEMA medical checkups, onboarding procedures and all related administrative tasks.
  • Ensure timely submission and proper compliance of statutory requirements under various labor laws.
  • Responsible for recruitment including manage channel, screening of candidate, conducting interview, remuneration proposal, etc.
  • Manage employee relation from onboarding to exit clearance.
  • Maintain and regularly update master database (personal file, personal database & etc. of each employee)
  • Assist in employee performance review.
  • Keep records of all HR documentation and assist in ISO matters related to training.
  • Prepare, assist and maintain the day-to-day admin function and operation activities.
  • Perform any other assignments as and when required by the Management.
Required Skills/Abilities (include Education, Working Experience, skill and so on):
  • Degree in Human Resources Management/Business Administration/Psychology/Economics or equivalent.
  • Min 2-4 years of working experience.
  • Excellent communication, numeracy and computer literacy skills.
  • Pro‑active, strong dedication & able to multi‑task effectively.
  • Meticulous & possess some analytical skills, attentive to details & result‑driven.
  • Independent and able to work with minimum supervision and tight deadline.
  • Strong English communication skills and Mandarin is an added advantage for liaising with China stakeholders.
