1. HR Recruiting
- Develop and execute recruitment plans for office and production workers
- Ensure manpower levels meet production schedules and peak-season demand.
- Manage onboarding, orientation, and probation evaluation.
2. HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain and update HR policies, SOP, and employee records.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, food manufacturing regulations, and audit requirements (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO).
- Oversee work permits and foreign worker documentation.
3. Employee Relations & Discipline
- Handle grievances, investigations, warnings, and disciplinary actions.
- Promote positive workplace culture and teamwork between production & office teams.
- Conduct counselling and conflict resolution when required.
4. Training & Development
- Organize training for GMP, HACCP, food safety, safety & health, and machine handling.
- Implement skill matrix, training records, and annual training plans.
- Develop staff competency and leadership pipeline.
5. Payroll & Compensation
- Oversee monthly payroll, allowances, OT verification, and attendance tracking.
- Ensure statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp) are accurate and timely.
- Review salary structure, incentives, and appraisal cycles.
6. Performance Management
- Manage KPI setting and annual performance reviews.
- Work with departments to align goals with production and sales targets.
- Recommend promotions, increments, and disciplinary decisions based on performance.
7. Safety, Health & Compliance (Factory Related)
- Work with Safety Team on OSH compliance, PPE control, and accident reporting.
- Ensure factory rules, hygiene standards, and safety SOPs are enforced.
- Support internal/external audits (HACCP, GMP, ISO, customer audits).
8. Administration & Office Management
- Oversee general admin functions: office supplies, factory facilities, hostel, cleaners & security.
- Manage contracts for service vendors (cleaning, pest control, machinery maintenance).
- Ensure smooth daily operations involving production & office environments.
9. Management Reporting
- Prepare HR dashboards: headcount, attrition, hiring status, training, disciplinary cases, and payroll cost.
- Report manpower issues and propose solutions to management.
10. Strategic HR & Change Management
- Support expansion plans, workforce optimization, and automation transitions.
- Drive HR digitalization (e-leave, e-attendance, HR system).
- Build employer branding for FMCG talent attraction.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- HR professional certifications are an added advantage.
- Minimum 5–8 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of factory operations, production manpower planning, and shift scheduling.
- Solid understanding of Malaysian labor laws, Employment Act, IR practices & disciplinary procedures.
- Familiar with HACCP, GMP, Food Safety, and audit-related HR documentation.
- Strong in payroll (including OT, allowances), HR systems, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage foreign worker administration.
