As a Hotel Front Office Assistant at MODERN SUMMER SDN BHD, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and performing a variety of front office duties in a full-time capacity. Based in Johor Bahru, Johor, this role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel's operations.

What you'll be doing
  • Greeting and checking-in/out guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints promptly
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, services and events
  • Assisting with room assignments and preparing necessary documentation
  • Processing payments, managing cash floats and balancing daily accounts
  • Providing concierge services such as making reservations and arranging transportation
  • Ensuring the front desk area is well-organised and presentable at all times
  • Contributing to the overall guest experience and promoting the hotel's brand
What we're looking for
  • Previous experience in a customer service or front office role within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds
