Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Develop students’ skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in Spanish.
• Encourage cultural awareness by integrating aspects of Spanish-speaking cultures into lessons.
• Utilize interactive and communicative teaching methods to enhance language acquisition.
• Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and reports while providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and immersive language-learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the language curriculum.
• Participate in school activities, including extracurricular programs and cultural events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., TESOL, or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Spanish language instruction.
• Fluent or speaks Spanish at an idiomatic level.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum (preferred but not mandatory).
