Job description

We seek an experienced individual for turnkey system integration projects involving IMS and VoIP node installation and integration, configuration of various interfaces (SIP, Diameter, GTP, etc.), EPC and policy control architecture implementation, core IP network architecture management, and hardware platform (HP, ATCA, Solaris) integration. Presales experience including scoping, estimation, dimensioning, and capacity planning is also required.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

1. Installation & Integration of IMS nodes including P/S/I-CSCF, Application Servers, and servers specific to applications like Presence server, IM server, etc.
2. Configuration & Implementation of the IMS Protocol Interfaces – Gm Interface, ISC interface, Ro/Rf Interface, Sh Interface SIP, SOAP/XML, Diameter, etc.
3. Installation & Integration of VoIP nodes including Media Gateways, Signaling Gateways, MRF protocols including SIP, MEGACO, MGCP.
4. Handling EPC network including configuration & implementation of the EPC interfaces over LTE signaling protocols (S1AP, GTP-C/U, Diameter).
5. Handling Policy Control Architecture including policy use case implementation to control different interfaces like Gx, Gy, and Rx.
6. Handling Core IP Network Architecture – including routers, RADIUS servers, and protocols like IGMP, ICMP, EIGRP, Deep Packet Inspection, etc.
7. Installation & Integration over hardware platforms such as HP, ATCA, Solaris, Unix, and load balancers.
8. Scoping & estimation of upcoming opportunities in presales phase, including dimensioning, capacity, and hardware sizing.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of packet switching, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), and network architecture.
• Cloud and Virtualization: Knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization (e.g., VMware, KVM), and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• 5G and Packet Core: Familiarity with 5G network architecture, packet core functions (e.g., SGW, PGW), and protocols (e.g., GTP, PFCP).
• Nokia CMG Product Knowledge: Understanding of Nokia’s Cloud Mobile Gateway (CMG) product, including features, configuration, and deployment.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex network issues, including packet analysis and network performance optimization.
