Qualifications

Job description

Our client is one of the leading companies when it comes to the semiconductor industry. Due to expansion plans, they are currently looking for a Head of Supply Chain to join their growing company. This role will be based in Penang.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the procurement and supply team team, ensuring the effective execution of the supply chain strategy across the company.
• Identify and establish strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating favourable terms and ensuring reliable supply chains.
• Oversee the sourcing and purchasing of materials, components, and services, ensuring high quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead efforts to resolve supply chain issues and escalated queries from stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.

Skills & Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in supply chain, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the semiconductor industry or a similar technical field.
• Strong understanding of procurement strategies, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
• Proven track record of managing complex supply chains, mitigating risks, and optimizing costs.
