CMO Procurement Lead, Southeast Asia & Taiwan

sits within the Cross-BU Procurement organization and reports to the Head of Cross-BU APAC Procurement.

This is a critical leadership role, responsible for driving procurement strategy and performance across Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). The role requires strong people leadership, deep business partnership, external relationship management, and the ability to navigate complexity, manage risk and handle escalations with significant business impact.

In this role you will...

• Lead the CMO Procurement team responsible for managing Contract Manufacturing Organizations supporting current products and future innovation.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that improve cost, quality, service, supply resilience and risk management.
• Build strong partnerships with CMO operations, regional and global procurement teams to unlock synergies and deliver cost management targets.
• Collaborate closely with CMOs to deliver ambitions across cost, service, quality, lead time, working capital and innovation, supported by robust supplier performance management.
• Align with regional and global Procurement leaders to adopt best practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Act as a strategic business partner, deeply understanding stakeholder needs and clearly articulating the Procurement value proposition.
• Establish and maintain a strong risk management framework to ensure business continuity and effective escalation management.
• Ensure full compliance with Haleon Procurement policies, processes, systems and governance standards.

Strategy & Value Delivery

• Develop and embed effective ways of working across BU, Directs, Cross-BU and cross-functional teams.
• Own and deliver cost management strategies, including medium- to long-term value pipelines across value engineering, alternate sourcing, automation and capital restructuring.
• Deploy negotiation standards across CMOs and Direct material suppliers, supported by a strong should-cost capability.
• Design and implement agile sourcing strategies to support product innovation and portfolio growth.
• Support annual planning with strong market insights to inform robust budgeting and forecasting.

Supplier & Relationship Management

• Develop and execute supplier strategies that deliver against cost, service, quality, lead time, working capital and innovation objectives.
• Negotiate, execute and manage commercial contracts with CMOs and suppliers to maximise value for Haleon.
• Build senior-level strategic relationships with CMOs and suppliers.
• Implement structured supplier account management and performance assessment to drive superior outcomes.
• Lead operational excellence initiatives to improve supplier KPIs

Supply chain & risk management

• Transform the supply chain to unlock value through simplification, digitalisation, automation and best-practice procurement.
• Identify and manage supply chain risks, ensuring mitigation plans are in place, active and clearly communicated to impacted stakeholders.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 12+ years of Procurement experience, ideally across Direct materials and CMO environments
• Strong expertise in sourcing, RFQs/RFIs, contract negotiation, supplier development and performance management
• Proven track record of delivering significant cost reduction programmes across complex supply chains
• Demonstrated experience in new product launches and integration of new business models
• Experience operating in cGMP OTC and/or FMCG environments strongly preferred
