Establish the IT roadmap to achieve the mid-to-long-term business goals of the Malaysia subsidiary.

Analyze IT investment efficiency (ROI) and manage Technical Debt.

Security & Compliance

Ensure compliance with the local Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and strengthen global-level cybersecurity systems.

Establish Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and ensure Business Continuity (BCP).

Operations

Oversee and manage core systems supporting field sales and service, including ERP, CRM, and mobile apps.

Infrastructure

Ensure stability of cloud and on-premise infrastructure and strengthen security governance.

Resource Management

Develop/execute the IT budget and foster local IT talent.

Global Governance

Optimize and apply the IT strategy and guidelines from the Korean headquarters to the local subsidiary.

Negotiate and manage Service Level Agreements (SLA) with global and local IT vendors.

Lead cloud migration (AWS, Azure, etc.) and management efficiency improvements.

1. Key Responsibilities
  • IT Strategy

    • Establishment of standard project management processes and understanding of methodologies.

3. Leadership & Soft Skills (Global Leader Competencies)
  • Strategic Thinking

    • Ability to translate technical issues into business language and communicate them to executives.

    • Change management capability to lead the adoption of new IT systems within field organizations.

4. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in building IT systems for rental/subscription service businesses.

  • Experience in operating and advancing global ERP systems like SAP.
