A leading IT services company in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced IT Manager to develop the IT roadmap and ensure compliance with local regulations. The successful candidate will oversee core systems, manage the IT budget, and lead cloud migration efforts. This role requires a strong leader with significant IT experience and the ability to navigate Korean corporate culture. Establish the IT roadmap to achieve the mid-to-long-term business goals of the Malaysia subsidiary.
Analyze IT investment efficiency (ROI) and manage Technical Debt.
Security & Compliance
Ensure compliance with the local Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and strengthen global-level cybersecurity systems.
Establish Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and ensure Business Continuity (BCP).
Operations
Oversee and manage core systems supporting field sales and service, including ERP, CRM, and mobile apps.
Infrastructure
Ensure stability of cloud and on-premise infrastructure and strengthen security governance.
Resource Management
Develop/execute the IT budget and foster local IT talent.
Global Governance
Optimize and apply the IT strategy and guidelines from the Korean headquarters to the local subsidiary.
Negotiate and manage Service Level Agreements (SLA) with global and local IT vendors.
Lead cloud migration (AWS, Azure, etc.) and management efficiency improvements.
1. Key ResponsibilitiesIT Strategy

Experience
Minimum 15 years of IT experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
Experience managing IT for an overseas subsidiary of a global company is preferred.
Competency
Deep understanding of Korean corporate business culture and collaboration processes.
Competency in large-scale Project Management Office (PMO) and IT budget optimization.
Technical Skill Set
Experience in operating and building ERP (SAP/Oracle, etc.), CRM, and E-Commerce platforms.
Establishment of standard project management processes and understanding of methodologies.
Strategic Thinking
Ability to translate technical issues into business language and communicate them to executives.
Change management capability to lead the adoption of new IT systems within field organizations.
Experience in building IT systems for rental/subscription service businesses.
Experience in operating and advancing global ERP systems like SAP.
