Job description

The Head of Global Network & Operations is responsible for network expansion, carrier management, hub operations, and overall execution, ensuring Redly Express scales profitably. The role works closely with the CEO of Redly Express and senior group leaders to align network strategy with commercial objectives and overall business growth. This position holds P&L responsibility for logistics, driving cost efficiency while ensuring seamless service delivery and compliance with global logistics standards.

Own It:

Develop and execute network expansion strategies, ensuring Redly Express establishes a scalable, cost-effective presence in new markets.

Hold P&L responsibility for network and logistics, ensuring cost control, profitability, and long-term sustainability.

Oversee logistics technology implementation, ensuring TMS, WMS, ERP, and real-time tracking systems are fully integrated.

Implement real-time performance tracking, ensuring network reliability, service levels, and cost targets are met.

Build Trust:

Lead carrier selection, negotiations, and performance management, ensuring high service levels and cost efficiency.

Collaborate with regional operations leaders and group executives to align hub infrastructure with broader logistics strategy.

Oversee regulatory compliance, trade compliance, and customs adherence across international operations.

One Team:

Work with the CEO and senior leadership to prioritize and execute growth initiatives for international expansion.

Collaborate with regional operations leaders and group executives to align hub infrastructure with broader logistics strategy.

Work with senior commercial and sales teams to ensure logistics capabilities align with customer and business needs.

Collaborate with group IT leadership to ensure seamless integration of logistics technology with company-wide platforms.

Work closely with the CEO and group leaders to set and monitor operational KPIs.

Move Fast:

Drive initial volume generation in new markets, working closely with commercial teams to achieve early adoption.

Implement operational best practices to drive scalability, automation, and continuous improvement.

Lead the adoption of automation technologies to improve efficiency across hubs, carrier management, and tracking.

Identify and adopt new logistics technologies and solutions to improve efficiency, visibility, and scalability.

Encourage continuous improvement and innovation across network and logistics operations.

Work with IT, operations, and commercial teams to implement practical, value-driven innovations.

Establish service quality standards, KPIs, and SLAs, ensuring carriers meet operational benchmarks.

Drive cost-efficiency initiatives, reduce carrier costs and optimize hub operations.

Drive logistics digitalization initiatives, enhancing data visibility and operational control.

Lead issue resolution and risk mitigation efforts, ensuring operational resilience.

Qualifications:

10 years of experience in international logistics, network development, or supply chain management.

Proven expertise in multi-carrier, asset-light, and postal hybrid logistics models.

Strong background in hub management, warehouse operations, and international logistics execution.

In-depth knowledge of cross-border eCommerce, trade compliance, and international freight operations.

Strong commercial acumen, with experience in carrier negotiations and cost optimization.

Highly analytical, with experience using KPI dashboards, contract negotiations, and logistics strategy development.

Proficiency in logistics technology solutions, including TMS, WMS, ERP, and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across commercial, operational, and technology teams.

Experience in P&L management, budgeting, and cost control for logistics operations.
