Sri KDU International School Kota Damansara is looking to appoint an innovative and dynamic Head of Creative Arts to join our talented team from August 2026.

About the Role

The Head of Creative Arts will play a pivotal role in designing, delivering, and evaluating inspirational arts programmes across the school. The position involves working collaboratively with teachers, parents and the wider community to embed a deep appreciation for the arts and foster creative thinking in students.

Qualifications

• Must possess a relevant education degree or a PGCE or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum for England, Cambridge International IGCSE Curriculum is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a high‑quality British international school is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Know their students as people and how they learn: Detailed knowledge of students' developmental characteristics, learning needs, personalities and cultural contexts.
• Plan and deliver excellent learning and teaching: Up‑to‑date curriculum knowledge, high student expectations, setting challenging learning goals and using a variety of strategies, resources and digital technology to support students.
• Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning and progress: Use a range of assessment strategies and data to inform students of their progress and design appropriate interventions and support.
• Demonstrate international‑mindedness and global citizenship: Promote politeness, respect, kindness, and concern for people from different backgrounds, encouraging ethical global citizenship.
• Engage professionally in learning and with the community: Participate in professional learning, collaborate with colleagues and hold themselves to the highest professional standards.
