A local service provider in Malaysia is seeking a reliable handyman to perform maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, responding to repair requests, and maintaining stock records. The ideal candidate will have basic maintenance knowledge and good organizational skills. Perform routine repair and maintenance work (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.).
Conduct regular inspections of facilities, fittings, and equipment.
Assist with installation, moving, and setup of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Respond promptly to urgent repair or maintenance requests.
Ensure workplace safety and proper upkeep of outlet facilities.
Receive, check, and record incoming stock, supplies, and equipment.
Organize and maintain the store area in a clean and systematic manner.
Monitor stock levels, report shortages or damages, and support replenishment.
Issue items to staff and maintain proper stock records.
Assist in monthly stock count and reconciliation.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
Prior experience in handyman or storekeeping role is an advantage.
Physically fit, hardworking, and reliable.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
