Dorsett Hartamas KL is seeking a dedicated Guest Service Assistant to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel. As a front-line ambassador, you will be responsible for providing attentive and friendly service to all our guests.
Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing a professional and hospitable reception.
Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner.
Assist with luggage handling and concierge services as required.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel facilities, services and local area attractions to provide helpful recommendations to guests.
Contribute to creating a positive, customer-focused environment within the hotel.
Perform other front office duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the hotel.
Previous experience in a customer service or guest-facing role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet to address guest needs.
Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia or other languages an advantage.
A positive, friendly and professional demeanour, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Flexibility to work in a dynamic, 24/7 hotel environment, including weekends and public holidays.
