Job Details

We are currently looking for a Group Key Account Manager for one of the leading brands in the FMCG Beverages space. This position will oversee the total Modern Trade (MT) channel, and requires your urgent attention.

  • Reporting to: Head of Sales
  • Location: Kuala Lumpur
  • 2 direct reports
  • Lead the entire Modern Trade channel for an iconic household brand, with a clear progression path to a National Key Account Manager (NKAM) role.
The Role
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated key accounts team, taking full strategic ownership of the entire Modern Trade channel's performance.
  • Masterfully manage the commercial relationship with the company's exclusive distributors, ensuring flawless execution of your strategy.
  • Develop and execute the annual joint business plans, promotional calendars, and trade spend (A&P) budgets for all national accounts.
  • Oversee top-to-top relationships with key retailers, acting as the principal point of contact for high-level strategic negotiations and alignment.
The Experience
  • Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years of FMCG key account management experience.
  • Strong experience and connections across relevant IKA and LKA channels.
  • Strategic and commercially-minded with strong communication skills.
