This personnel is to support the Head Groomer in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our grooming operations. This role will play a key part in enabling the grooming team to deliver outstanding service through operational excellence, talent support, and customer engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Support
- Coordinate daily grooming operations across all store locations, ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Prepare regular reports on grooming sales, team productivity, and operational performance.
- Track grooming-related costs and support cost optimization efforts.
- Assist with vendor management for grooming products, tools, and equipment.
2. Talent & Team Support
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of grooming team members.
- Support the Head Groomer in performance management processes and feedback tracking.
- Coordinate learning and development activities, including training sessions and skill assessments.
3. Marketing & Communications
- Support grooming-related marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, grooming events, and partnerships.
- Assist in the development of content and promotions aimed at both customer and talent acquisition.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and timely execution of initiatives.
4. Administrative & Customer Support
- Manage grooming appointment systems and customer follow-ups where needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to grooming services, equipment, and team schedules.
- Ensure timely communication and coordination between HQ and store-level grooming teams.
Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration, Veterinary Science, or 2+ years in operational support roles.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across departments.
- Proactive and resourceful, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Prior experience in operations, administration, or support roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with pet services or retail environments is an advantage but not required.
- Basic knowledge of pet grooming tools / breed-specific needs is preferred.
- Willing to travel as and when necessary for store audits, training sessions, or related assignments.
