Role Overview
Part of the regional creative team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- To conceptualize, design and produce all creative assets for Decathlon Malaysia and Singapore
- You will be acting as a visual brand guardian, to ensure creativity and high quality execution across all touchpoints
Responsibilities
To conceptualize, design and produce all creative assets for both entities in‑stores experience aligned with the country marketing strategy.
- To conceptualize, design and produce all creative assets to be used on both entities e‑commerce platforms (website & app) aligned with the country marketing strategy
- Design and produce digital graphic design assets that meet business objectives, serve commercial priorities and provide an engaging experience in all digital touch points (website, app, social media)
- Ensure Brand Identity consistency and alignment in all digital creative outputs
- Able to continuously innovate and stay ahead of digital design trends, pushing creative boundaries internally.
- Manage simultaneous graphic design developments in close collaboration with Singapore/Malaysia Marketing & E‑Commerce teams
- Collaborate with production agencies for creative asset development when necessary
- Design and produce print and digital assets for the most engaging customer experience across all retail touchpoints (store signage, LED/TV screens, posters, merchandising, etc.)
- Ensure brand identity and image consistency across all in‑store communication materials and activations, including merchandising (ILV/PLV) and promotional displays (e.g., multi‑buy bundles, membership offers)
- Manage the creation of assets for store grand openings, including guerilla activations, OOH campaigns and in‑store posters
- Respond to ad‑hoc store requests (e.g., posters, LED animations, specs sheets) while ensuring timely delivery and brand alignment
- Oversee the production and installation of print materials, ensuring top quality, timely execution, and budget management
- Collaborate with production agencies and external partners as needed for asset development and execution
- Stay on top of retail design trends and push creative innovation in‑store while maintaining brand consistency
Profile
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) are essential. Other languages are a plus
- Degree Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts, Design, Media, Visual Arts, Visual Communication or related field
- Proven 3‑5 years experience on the role
- Huge sense of service & user‑obsessed, and a strong understanding of local markets
- Excellent at articulating design choices and creative vision to cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
- A passion for staying ahead of design trends and continuously innovating, while maintaining brand consistency
- Strong team spirit with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, especially when managing projects with external agencies or teams
- A positive attitude everyday and proactive approach to identifying challenges and coming up with creative solution
- A strong team spirit and like to win as a team
To Win You Must Have
- Graphic Design Expertise: Proficient in creating high‑quality digital and print assets across e‑commerce platforms and retail environments.
- Brand Identity Management: Expert in maintaining consistent brand identity across all digital and print creative outputs.
- Digital Design Tools: Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.), with a strong focus on creating web and app‑based assets.
- Motion Design: Proficient in motion design tools (After Effects, Animate) for creating dynamic digital and in‑store animations.
- E‑commerce and Retail Design: Experience in creating assets for high‑traffic e‑commerce platforms and physical retail environments.
- Campaign Execution: Experience in conceptualizing, designing, and executing creative campaigns for both digital and retail touchpoints (including OOH, guerrilla activations, and promotional materials).
- Collaboration & Project Management: Skilled in working cross‑functionally with marketing, e‑commerce, retail, and external production agencies to meet deadlines and deliver creative assets
