MSR Green Energy Sdn Bhd – Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah

MSR-GE, a leader in renewable energy (“RE”) infrastructure, is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join our growing project delivery team at the earliest opportunity. This site-based role offers hands‑on experience in the implementation and delivery of solar PV and battery energy storage system (“BESS”) projects, focusing on civil, structural, and geotechnical works.

The successful candidate will be initially based at our Bukit Kayu Hitam (Kedah) project site, before a subsequent transfer to Bachok (Kelantan). This position is offered on an 18‑month contract basis, with conversion to a permanent role within one year subject to performance. You will work under the guidance of experienced engineers and gain valuable exposure to both on‑site construction supervision and project coordination activities – an excellent opportunity to develop a strong foundation in the RE infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and coordinating civil and structural works, including site preparation, foundations, drainage, and access roads
• Review and prepare basic civil drawings such as general arrangement, foundation, and drainage plans
• Support data collection, surveying, and preparation of design and construction documentation
• Assist senior engineers in monitoring quality and progress of civil works on site
• Participate in inspection, testing, and verification of civil and structural works under supervision
• Help maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and as‑built records
• Support site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and environmental protocols
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues
• Stay updated on relevant industry standards, construction practices, and safety requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Basic understanding of civil and structural design, preferably with exposure to foundation, earthworks, or drainage design
• Familiarity with AutoCAD; exposure to STAAD, Civil 3D, or other design tools is an advantage
• A strong willingness to learn, with a positive and proactive attitude
  Good teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel and work full‑time at project sites across Malaysia
• Interest in building a long‑term career in RE infrastructure
