A global technology company is seeking a Commodity Manager in Penang, Malaysia, to shape its global supply base. This role involves strategic sourcing, securing contracts, and driving supplier innovation to achieve cost savings. They will work cross-functionally to ensure supply continuity and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management.
• Experience with supplier negotiations and global strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global commodity strategies and sourcing roadmaps.
• Lead supplier selection, RFI/RFP/RFQ, and negotiations for LTAs.
• Drive supplier segmentation, QBRs, and corrective action plans.
• Deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and productivity targets.
• Identify and mitigate risks across capacity, supply continuity, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Ops, and R&D for innovation and design-to-cost.
